LIR-RMC-7 is a LAN control module designed to convert (convert) commands transmitted over twisted-pair cable (LAN) into commands transmitted over RS-232 (com port), and IR (infrared) channels. The device transmits signals in the opposite direction, respectively, except for the infrared signal.
The control module can connect and network unmanaged devices in both home and commercial systems. With many ports and inputs needed simultaneously, the adapter provides an easy way to control different devices, reducing the time and complexity of installations. By simply sending commands over your local network, or via the IR ports, you can control your audio and video equipment (power on, tune, volume control...) as well as your favorite DVD movie. And all this will happen at the touch of a button.
Using open standards (e.g. TCP/IP), any network device (computer, touch panel, central controller) can send and receive data from the module. With it, you can connect various devices for control and monitoring over the home network as well as over the Internet.
The device has an easy and intuitive interface for configuration and settings.
