DPS-520

Description
The DPS-520 is a redundant power supply (RPS) designed for use with the DGS-1520-28 / DGS-1520-52 switches and allows you to connect up to 4 devices 1using standard Ethernet cables of category 5e and above (connection distance up to 100 m). The RPS is housed in a rugged metal housing with an AC jack, a 10/100/1000Base-T management port, and 4 10/100/1000Base-T ports for connecting to a PoH port (usually a management port). ) on the switch using an Ethernet cable. A redundant power supply (RPS) is a device that provides uninterrupted power in the event of an unexpected failure of the switch's internal power supply, which can shut down the switch itself, devices connected to its ports, or the entire network. By providing the necessary output power to operate the switch, RPS improves the power reliability of the device.

Power redundancy
The DPS-520 continuously monitors the status of the internal power supply. In the event of a power outage, the backup power source starts immediately, so the LAN switch and devices connected to it can continue to operate. This increases the fault tolerance of the network infrastructure and protects against interruption of the network connection due to a power failure of one of the network devices.

Easy and versatile installation
Installing the DPS-520 does not require any changes to the LAN switch settings. This RPS has a universal internal power supply and can be connected to any AC power source from 90 to 264 Volts, 47 to 63 Hz using a standard power cable.

Web Based Management
The DPS-520 can be controlled using the Web interface. The user interface provides access to various configuration functions (including the ability to configure failover policies by setting RPS port prioritization) and RPS management, and allows the user to view statistics.

Modular redundant power supply
The DPS-520 is a modular redundant power supply that can be used as a stand-alone unit or installed in a DPS-800 chassis. The chassis can be installed in a standard 19" rack. Up to two RPSs can be installed in a chassis and can be connected to switches installed in the same rack.

Rack Chassis
The DPS-800 chassis allows you to install up to two DPS-520 modules in an equipment rack. Using a chassis allows you to save space while keeping your cabling system looking neat. All RPSs installed in a chassis are connected directly to power supplies.
1 Supports up to 3 DGS-1520-52s connected at the same time, operating at maximum load, or 4 DGS-1520-28s.
