Equipment for assembly halls
Basic types of assembly halls:
  • assembly hall in a secondary school
  • assembly hall in a college or vocational training institution
  • assembly hall of a house of culture
  • assembly hall of a company, a company
  • assembly hall of a department or ministry
A modern auditorium includes audio-visual equipment systems. Depending on the purpose and budget can be a complete set of multimedia systems, as well as a minimal, but the most functional set of equipment systems.
hall equipment
Audio playback system
The sound equipment of the assembly hall provides, first of all, the possibility to address the price to the hall. In educational institutions, this is primarily for various meetings (beginning and end of the academic year, presentation of diplomas, initiation of first-year students, faculty days, KVN games, etc.). Often special musical equipment is also provided for.

  • microphones, microphone stands
  • acoustic systems (background sound system, stage acoustic systems)
  • sound processing systems (power amplifiers, mixers, equalizers)
  • public address systems
Projection screen
The video display system of the auditorium is based on two main solutions:
  • a video projector with a projection screen
  • video panels, video walls

A projection screen in the auditorium is usually installed permanently. It is either stretched out on the back of the stage or mounted above the back of the stage in a tube and unfolded if necessary. A motorized screen can also be controlled remotely from the central control panel. If the stage is equipped with stanchion hoists the screen can be attached to one of them.

Experience shows that the width of the projection screen should be about 1/6 of the distance from the screen to the last spectator seat in the hall.

Video projector
Multimedia projector is selected individually and, above all, by brightness, which corresponds to the light output of the video projector. Take into account lighting, light-reflectivity of walls and ceilings.

If it is impossible to buy a bright enough video projector, we choose the budget version and darken the hall for the duration of image demonstration. Once this practice was widespread, but today, in most cases, projectors capable of "overriding" the diffused light from the window are installed.
Video wall and LCD panels
A video wall is usually installed on the stage or directly in front of the stage. Separate LCD panels are usually placed on the sides of the stage and serve as an additional means of video display.

Since the assembly hall video wall is not needed all the time, video walls on a movable platform are often used, which allows not to keep expensive means of video display on the stage all the time.

Switching system
The auditorium switching system allows you to connect video sources and display media. It consists of various devices that enable the transmission and processing of audio and video signals. For example, the signal from the operator's computer goes to the projector or video wall.

  • Signal switchers and matrix switchers
  • Converters, format converters and processors
  • amplifiers distributors
  • scalers and converters
  • interface extenders and repeaters
  • patch cables
Control system
The control system allows the operator to control the assembly hall equipment. All the various systems of the installed multimedia equipment are united by a centralized control system.

  • Using the settings and control keys on the equipment itself.
  • With the help of specialized software. Control is implemented by means of a graphical interface, which can stand on stationary control monitors, displayed on tablets and other mobile devices.
The main elements of the control system are the central controller (or control video server) and peripheral control devices.
Videoconferencing (VCS)
Video conferencing system is installed in assembly halls of educational institutions, enterprises and companies.

Purpose:
  • communication with remote interlocutors, communication with branches in other cities
  • Conducting training sessions and conferences.
VCS systems are implemented in two main variants:
  • software conferencing systems (budget solution)
  • Hardware and software video conferencing systems
Technology TV
The functions of the technological television of the assembly hall:
  • image output on video panels, video walls, and monitors in the auditorium
  • Video transmission during videoconferencing sessions with remote interlocutors.
For technological television we use fixed high resolution rotary cameras that are mounted on walls and above the stage.
The cameras are controlled both in manual mode (by the operator of the hall) and with the help of automatic pointing technology on the speaker.
Stage lighting
Stage lighting extends the functionality of the assembly hall. Conducting official meetings, celebrations, musical events, performances are greatly improved with the presence of lighting equipment. The minimum set of lighting equipment for assembly halls of colleges, universities and schools include:

  • boom of soffits, located in front of the stage
  • a set of lamps for back stage lighting
Lights are controlled from the operator's room. For complex lighting systems that combine different types of lighting fixtures, a light mixer - a device that allows you to control both the brightness and the color of lighting fixtures - is installed in the operator's room.
The budget of the solution
The question of the cost of equipment is not in last place. The budget of an ordinary school to equip an assembly hall is not comparable with the budget of a large ministry, as well as the difference in the events they need to hold. But that does not mean that it is impossible to equip a good assembly hall on a limited budget.
Choosing audio equipment catches the eye a huge variety of manufacturers, technical characteristics and price categories.

On the basis of many years of successful experience in the field of distribution and integration of professional audio equipment "Atanor" presents a wide range of sound equipment for assembly halls (as well as concert halls, conference and congress halls):

  • professional sound systems (including line arrays and stage monitors)
  • sound amplifiers
  • microphones
  • mixers and sound processing equipment
