Huddle rooms. Mini-negotiations equipment
A private room, or mini-negotiations room, is a small room (for 3-5 people) designed for quick working meetings and appointments. Sometimes they are also called "aquariums", as they are often performed on office space with glass walls to see whether the room is occupied or unoccupied.
Huddle rooms are usually equipped for video conferencing or BYOD systems.

Benefits of Huddle rooms
Saving money on rent
The traditional approach to work organization involved a rigid workday and the constant presence of all workers in the organization's premises. As the company grew and the number of employees increased, more and more space was needed to accommodate them. Even today, you can still find such firms where large spaces rented from an office center house many employees whose workplaces are separated from their neighbors only by thin partitions.

  • The development of technology and new approaches to the effective organization of the company has led to the understanding that many employees can work remotely and do not need to be tied to one place all day. Moreover, global experience shows that this kind of work organization is even more effective. Thus, by increasing the efficiency of employees, the company acquires and good savings on rental space and equipment for workplaces.
  • Huddle rooms, supporting this approach, allow you to organize places for interaction with remote employees, thanks to video conferencing systems installed in them.
Increasing the efficiency of work
Many people are familiar with the situation when in order to conduct negotiations or solve a work task it is necessary to gather a small group of people in a separate room, where they can disconnect from the noise inherent in large company rooms, and fully concentrate on the issue or brainstorm. Of course, every company usually has one or two such rooms, but they often turn out to be busy just when you need them urgently or they are booked for different meetings a week in advance.
  • Huddle rooms allow us to solve problems with free space and eliminate unnecessary conflicts that sometimes arise due to their distribution.
  • Several mini-negotiations with glass walls, installed in the office of the company, allow to organize a quick meeting of the narrow team, as soon as such a need arises. Thanks to the transparent walls, it is always visible which rooms are occupied and which are currently free.
Minimizing the cost of expensive multimedia equipment
  • Equipping a small meeting room is much cheaper than a conference room.
  • Multimedia equipment systems installed in Huddle rooms are focused on the possibility of using participants' personal mobile devices (BYOD solutions), which means there is no need to spend money for the installation of complex stationary audio-visual equipment.
  • Equipping one conference hall requires large investments in designing, installation and debugging of all equipment systems. Equipping several mini-conference rooms with plug-and-play communication systems and AV-equipment will be much cheaper and more effective.
The main types of equipment used in Huddle rooms
Multimedia projector with screen
This common video transmission solution can even be used in mini meeting rooms. The short-throw projector sits directly above the projection screen and takes up very little space, successfully coping with its main task - to show high-quality images and videos.

Video Panels
Widescreen LCD panel is one of the most common solutions for Huddle rooms. It is used for both broadcasting video necessary for work and organizing video conference sessions with remote subscribers. The general global trend to reduce the cost of large-format video panels makes this choice very justified.
Interactive whiteboards and touch screen video panels
Interactive whiteboards have long taken their place in meeting rooms and conference rooms at all different levels, thanks to their effective functionality. The speaker can not only accompany his speech by drawing on the board the necessary diagrams and charts, but also to make notes directly in the presentation displayed on the board, with the ability to save the entire course of the discussion in electronic form.

At the same time touch screen video panels which combine the functions of interactive whiteboard and its functionality, and the ability to transmit high-quality images, characteristic for video panels, are becoming more and more popular.
Video conferencing and collaboration systems
In large conference rooms, the installation of a videoconferencing system is a rather complicated and time-consuming task. Hardware videoconferencing systems in use, while providing a high level and quality of communication, are expensive and require complex technical setup.

In case of Huddle rooms, as a rule, simpler software variants of videoconferencing implementation are used. Significantly cheaper and easier to install, they nevertheless fully cope with the main task - providing video conferencing with remote employees and subscribers within a small group of participants and can be easily installed on personal mobile devices of those gathered.
