The DGS-1016D unmanaged switch with 16 10/100/1000Base-T ports is designed for use in SOHO and SMB networks.
10/100/1000Base-T ports
The DGS-1016D switch provides data transfer rates of up to 2000 Mbps in full duplex mode on each port. When you connect devices that support Ethernet, Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet, the switch will automatically select the correct speed for them.
High performance
DGS-1016D switch supports advanced traffic management and performance features. The flow control feature prevents data loss during network congestion. In addition, the DGS-1016D supports broadcast storm protection and port isolation features that minimize the chances of virus attacks in the network.
Rugged Design
The DGS-1016D is housed in a rugged metal case and has a passive cooling system for silent operation. The device can be installed in a 19" rack by using appropriate brackets.
Power Savings
DGS-1016D switch complies with the IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet standard and consumes less power at a lower traffic volume. DGS-1016D also supports D-Link Green technology, which provides automatic reduction of power consumption. The switch detects the connection status of each port and automatically suspends inactive ports. In addition, the DGS-1016D detects the length of Ethernet cables attached to its ports and adjusts the power consumption of these ports accordingly, using only the required amount of power.

The DGS-1016D is RoHS compliant. The use of recyclable packaging reduces waste.
