Description
The DEM-314GT Single Mode Gigabit SFP Transceiver is designed to be installed in an SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) port of a network device to receive and transmit data over fiber optic cables. This transceiver is made in a compact package and provides high-speed and reliable data transmission using a wavelength of 1550 nm, over long distances up to 50 km, as well as easy installation.
The DEM-314GT transceiver uses a standard duplex connector (LC connector) to connect fiber optic cables. It complies with industry standards and is compatible with D-Link gigabit switches. All D-Link transceivers are hot pluggable. Connecting the transceiver to a powered device will not cause any problems. This allows the transceiver to be connected or disconnected without interrupting the rest of the network, facilitating maintenance and greatly reducing downtime.
