Description
The DEM-424XT Single Mode Fiber XFP Transceiver is designed to be installed in equipment equipped with XFP (10 Gigabit Small Form Factor Pluggable) slots to receive and transmit data over fiber optic cables. This transceiver is made in a compact package and provides high-speed and reliable data transmission using a wavelength of 1550 nm, over long distances up to 80 km, as well as easy installation. The DEM-424XT transceiver supports +3.3V and +5V supply voltages.
The DEM-424XT offers users extensive 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for data center and telecom service provider applications.
The DEM-424XT transceiver uses a standard duplex connector (LC connector) to connect fiber optic cables and complies with the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standard. All D-Link transceivers are hot pluggable. Connecting the transceiver to a powered device will not cause any problems. This allows the transceiver to be connected or disconnected without interrupting the rest of the network, facilitating maintenance and greatly reducing downtime.
