Description The D-Link DEM-210 SFP transceiver is designed for use in fiber optic communication systems, supports hot plugging, and complies with Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) and Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) specifications. The transceiver is equipped with a duplex LC connector and supports the IEEE 802.3u standard for data transmission in half duplex mode at 100 Mbps (or 200 Mbps in full duplex mode) over an optical cable.
Transmitting data over fiber over distances up to 15 km, these transceivers provide minimal signal distortion and no loss of performance over long optical links.
Many switch models are equipped with SFP combo ports, in which, in addition to gigabit transceivers, you can install a 100BASE-LX SFP transceiver. Characteristics cable type • Single mode optical cable 9/125µm
