Support for automatic MDI/MDIX polarity detection on all ports eliminates the need to use crossover cables when connecting to another switch.
Power saving
DGS-1008D switch supports IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE) technology, which can detect when the connected computer is off, and, accordingly, reduce power consumption on inactive ports, which saves a significant amount of energy.
