The DXS-3400-24TC managed switch is a new compact, high-performance device that performs switching and routing of low-latency traffic at speeds up to 10 Gbit/s. The 1U height and high port density make the DXS-3400-24TC switch convenient for use at the aggregation level on college campuses and in enterprises. The switch is equipped with 20 10GBase-T ports and 4 10GBase-T/SFP+ combo ports, which makes it suitable for work in a data center, as well as at the distribution and core levels in corporate networks.
High availability and flexibility The DXS-3400-24TS switch has a modular fan and power supply circuit. The possibility of "hot" replacement means that the fan and power supply can be replaced without stopping the switch. Physical and virtual stacking allows you to manage switches from a single IP address and provide redundancy to connected devices. The Switch Resource Management (SRM) function provides users with the ability to optimize the allocation of switch resources to solve various network tasks.
Universal software The DXS-3400-24TC switch package includes software with a wide range of functions that meets the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, large corporations and users on college campuses. The switch supports a wide range of second and third level functions, such as VLAN, routing between VLANs, Multicast traffic processing, Quality of Service (QoS), Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP), Routing Information Protocol (RIP) v1/2, Next Generation RIP (ripping) and security functions. The DXS-3400-24TC switch can be controlled using the Web interface and the CLI command line interface.
Ethernet without data loss Data Center Bridging (DCB) is a mandatory installation of Ethernet extensions for networking in data centers. The DXS-3400-24TC switch supports several major DCB components, such as IEEE 802.1Qbb, IEEE 802.1Qaz and IEEE 802.1Qau. IEEE 802.1Qbb (Priority-based Flow Control) provides flow control to offset data loss during network congestion. IEEE 802.1Qaz (Advanced Transmission Selection) controls the allocation of bandwidth among different traffic classes. IEEE 802.1Qau (Congestion Notification) provides congestion control for data flows within network domains in order to prevent congestion. The DXS-3400-24TC switch also supports packet buffering-free switching, which reduces the latency of data transmission in the network.
Energy saving The DXS-3400-24TC switch is equipped with built-in intelligent fans, internal temperature sensors that monitor temperature changes and react accordingly to the use of different fan speeds at different temperatures. At low temperatures, the fan speed is reduced, which reduces energy consumption and reduces noise.
