Conference systems
Modern conference systems can be easily integrated with voice and display systems, videoconferencing, which significantly expands the user's capabilities. The conference system can also be supplemented with a parliamentary meeting, voting or simultaneous speech translation system.

Basic elements of the conference system:
  • participant unit (delegate microphone unit)
  • The central unit of the conference system.

Connection type
According to the type of connection a distinction is made between wired and wireless conference systems.
Wired conference systems require permanent locations for equipment installation, installation of consoles and wiring, but provide the highest quality of communication.
Wireless conference systems have their disadvantages (possible interference for reception, the need to monitor the charging of devices), but give the possibility to easily and quickly install microphone units in the hall and remove them when they are not needed. This solution is very convenient for multifunctional conference rooms performing different tasks (conference room, staff training room, round table).
Installation method
BYOD for education
The second division is based on how the equipment is installed. These can be:
  • Desktop conference systems, in which the control panel is located on the table;
  • Flush-mounted - where the console is "flush" directly into the table top;
  • Ceiling microphone arrays.
Desktop microphone units are convenient if the conference room has large tables which can accommodate both desk and notebook of conference participant.
Flush-mount console takes less space and allows you to optimize the space on the tables of participants.
Ceiling microphone arrays are used when it is necessary to do without microphones on a table at all. They are a system of directional microphones that can be configured according to which areas of the room are to be covered.
