Professional audio equipment
  • Professional sound equipment ensures concerts, conferences, presentations, symposiums in assembly and conference halls, meeting rooms, classrooms
  • Good sound depends, first of all, on a correct choice of audio equipment, which should correspond to the size and design of a room, its acoustic peculiarities

Speakers
Professional acoustics
Distinctive features of professional speakers:
  • High sensitivity (higher sensitivity of the speakers allows the use of less powerful amplifiers)
  • High sound pressure index (it is this index, not the power of the system, which is more important in conditions of a large number of listeners)
Active and passive loudspeakers
The speakers have a built-in sound amplifier and do not require additional sound reinforcement devices (sound amplifiers). A separate power supply is required.
Passive Loudspeakers are therefore used in conjunction with an external power amplifier.

The choice of one or another type of loudspeakers depends on specific conditions. For example, in the case of installing ceiling speakers in a suspended ceiling - it will most likely be a variant of passive speakers, as they are significantly lighter, and to control them through an amplifier.
At the same time, active speakers will be more convenient if there is no space for an additional rack with equipment and a place for an operator in the hall. Despite the larger size, such speakers are easier to move when changing the configuration of furniture layout, etc., they are easier to control and operate.
Sound power amplifiers
  • The audio power amplifier is designed to amplify the signal delivered to the loudspeakers. It is used when a loudspeaker system without its own built-in amplifier (passive loudspeaker system) is used.
  • If the speaker system is installed permanently, then it is more justified to install one common amplifier, which will save money and provide a more mobile control of the system (including the possibility of quickly changing its components in case of malfunction or modernization)
  • There are household and professional audio power amplifiers
Professional audio power amplifiers
  • Professional audio amplifiers provide protection against overloading, short circuits and overheating
  • Professional audio power amplifiers are sometimes also referred to as "rack-mounted" amplifiers. Regardless of their type or model, they have common size parameters: 18 inches wide or about 45 cm (1U, or 1 rack) and a height multiple of 1.8 inches (about 4.5 cm). This standard means that these amplifiers, regardless of manufacturer, can fit into a standard rack-mounted rack
Professional sound mixers
  • A mixer (mixing console) is a type of professional audio equipment - an electronic device designed to summarize audio signals from inputs from multiple sources into one or more outputs. It allows you to combine and equalize the sound signals of different volumes from different sources.
  • Modern mixers are complex systems for processing and distributing audio signals
Application areas of sound mixers
Mixers are used for sound processing and are used in various applications. According to their application they can be divided into:

  • sound mixers for large concert halls;
  • Sound mixers for recording studios;
  • Sound mixers for radio and television studios;
  • sound mixers for professional audio and video processing;
  • sound mixers for small venues;
  • Sound mixers for mobile solutions;
  • DJ mixers;
  • others.
