DVI-GIS-2 is a galvanic isolation of the DVI signal. The galvanic isolation completely isolates the DVI or HDMI signals. It isolates not only the video and control signals, but also the ground of the receiving and transmitting side from each other. Automatic equalizer to compensate for image defects allows an amplifier-distributor to be connected at the end of a long route (up to 40 meters) to restore the signal. Galvanic isolation of DVI interface is used in critical applications where galvanic isolation between connected DVI devices (signal source and display) requires elimination of ground loops and provides isolation between different devices and components of high resolution video system.
The use of this device provides: Full galvanic isolation (up to 5 kV) between DVI components Supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) Transparent EDID pass-through Decoupling between DVI input and output.
